I'm looking forward to participating in this session. I plan to cover the role that smart grids must play to allow large numbers of advanced electric drive vehicles (AEV) to be integrated into the existing power system. I will also refer to my research on the vehicle-to-grid (V2G) opportunties that arise as we see more and more AEVs connecting to the system. I published an opinion piece on EVWorld this past winter that questioned some of the V2G assumptions in a report called, The Electrification Roadmap. Here is the link:
